For the clubs’ May event, we will be driving up to the Golden Spike National Historical Park in Promontory, Utah. Members in and south of Salt Lake will meet in the parking lot on the northeast side of the Capital building at 7:45 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. departure. We will then meet those members from the north at the Maverik at 509 N 2000 W, in Marriott-Slaterville at around 9:30 a.m. We will then depart from the Maverik at 9:45 a.m. and should arrive at the park around 10:45 a.m. There is a $20.00 per car entrance fee for the National Park. We will be at the park for a couple of hours and leave between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to head back down to The Little Taste of Britain for some lunch.
